We also estimated how many plasters we would need to cover carrots then decided if we had made a good guess and played a strawberry counting game. Thank you for youur kind donations.

We have been celebrating World Book Day this week. We read our favourite stories and dressed as our favourite characters.

When Goldilocks went to the house of the bears

We had a visitor to our class and they broke a chair wink!!! We investigated who this could be and found Goldilocks on our school cameras. We then read the story and had lots of fun building beds and chairs making sure that they were strong enough to hold our weight. We told the story using puppets and even made porridge smiley

Having Fun in Reception

Welcome to our Marvelous Maths Cafe!!

We loved showing our parents how we learn maths in Reception. We showed them our skills in ordering numbers to 20, doubling numbers, addition and subtraction, how we can make the same number of objects look different and how we can make shapes and name them. They were very impressed. Take a look at some of the photographs below.
