The project aims to investigate whether children (10-11 year-olds) and adolescents (14-15 year-olds) feel happy at school and whether this impact children’s and adolescents’ well-being and their academic achievement.

Writing with imagination: the influence of executive functioning, emotion regulation and positive affect in children with Autism.
We know quite a lot about the challenges people face when diagnosed with Autism. What we know less about and hope that this research will address is how all this relates to the ways in which children develop their literacy skills especially in expressing language in writing. When research has been conducted in the past it has tended to be focused on drawing skills and social interaction through play.
